How do you get scammed in buying jewelry?
Well, I will tell you how. Go to bidz.com. It is a complete sham. Do not EVER, EVER buy from them. Tell all your friends, family and neighbors. I have already reported them to the Better Business Bureau, as well as 86 other people. But I wanted another way to let everyone know.
I paid $13 for a pair of solid gold earrings, they were hoops with a heart hanging on the bottom. Seems like a deal right? They charged $10.95 for shipping. Okay, I will still bite, maybe since they are 14K gold, they will come insured. Well, when I recieved them, the hoop part was literally as thick as a hair on your head, and seems to be gold wire. The hearts are practically microscopic and very cheap looking. The earrings have no backs to them! They are a complete circle with a very small cut. Certainly not wide enough to fit my ear in, not to mention because they are so circular, it is impossible. If you try to send it back, they do not refund shipping and charge you a fee to restock.

You really have to be careful buying any jewelry on line, I mean like on ebay. Whether it be cheap things or real things. I bought a Chanel watch for what was a cheap price for a Chanel watch, but believe me it wasn’t cheap. I had a feeling that it wasns’t real, but I had misplaced my real black one and knew it would show up some day so figured, what the hell, they said, money back in three days. Well, in the three days after I got the watch the people were gone. Had the same thing with some Louis Vuttion things. I only buy old styles of Louis Vuitton now as I know they won’t be knocking off old styles that have been out of style for 5 or more years. Be careful with anything you buy on any auction site.
Or even on some regular sites. I know one site was selling things that looked like the braclets Good Karma, but by the price and the charms I knew they were fakes as my friend owns the company.
